What is The Fraxel Laser?

Fraxel laser is a safe, non-invasive treatment that can resurface damaged skin. Fraxel® DUAL 1550/1927 resurfacing treatments effectively target both the surface and deeper layers of the skin which help to remove years from your appearance and regain a more youthful look.

Types of Laser Skin Resurfacing Treatments

There are two different Fraxel Lasers used in our office for Laser Skin Resurfacing.

1550: penetrates deep into the skin layers, specifically targeting concerns such as wrinkles and acne scars.

1927: Effectively targets tone, texture and other more superficial signs of aging.

Dr. Behr and the Registered Nurses will evaluate your skin and tailor your treatment to your desired outcome.

Who Performs The Treatment?

The registered nurses perform the treatment under the supervision of Dr. Behr. Our nurses are trained in cosmetic lasers and have received special training through Fraxel.

How Does Fraxel Laser Work

The fraxel laser work by creating very small micro thermal zones that go deep into the skin. The skin then repairs itself by pushing out the old damaged skin and replaces it with new skin.
